The Loopy collection is designed by Nancy Krzyzanowski and carefully hand made with the help of individual knitters and seamstresses throughout Britain. Our aim is to support the homebased craftsperson and to keep these traditional skills alive and kicking. Every effort is made to source all of our materials within the U.K. and to produce a product that will have longevity, be cherished and passed down in time.
The colours of the handknits, linen dresses and separates and the party dresses popular for flower girls, bridesmaids and special occasions are all inspired by the tones of the countryside; stone walls, lush fields, wild flowers and ancient woods.
This unique collection uses tulle, linen, wool and cotton and antique textiles to evoke simplicity and charm whilst maintaining an air of whimsy and sophistication. The versatility of the designs mix comfortably with either ballet slippers or wellingtons: dressed for high tea or a walk in the woods.
